Secondary SEN School - Southampton - Dibden / Waterside / New Forest area
Full-time
Academics are recruiting on behalf of an SEN school on the edge of the New Forest / Southampton in Dibden which caters for children aged 7-16 years who have a range of severe or complex learning needs, including Autism and mental health challenges due to past life trauma, attachment disorder or a phobia of education.
They are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join them team to start ASAP on a full-time supply contract. This is an on-going, possible temp to perm opportunity. The suitable Teaching Assistant will have a keen interest in English and have experience of supporting students with special educational needs.
Their long term aim is to focus on delivering a more vocational curriculum for KS3 and KS4 students. The school caters for up to 25 students with class sizes of 4 students over 7 fully equipped classrooms. xjnqpsq They have a DT/IT suite aswell as plenty of outside space for sports and activities.
