Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teaching Assistant to inspire and educate students across a variety of subjects. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to student development, and experience in special education and behaviour management. Responsibilities

* Help deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.

* Aid student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.

* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.

* Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual student needs, including those requiring special education support.

* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support student well-being and educational success.

* Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.

Experience

* Proven experience as a teacher/ teaching assistant at the secondary school level, with a strong understanding of curriculum delivery.

* Experience working with students requiring special education or behaviour management strategies is highly desirable.

* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds.

* Prior tutoring experience is advantageous, demonstrating the ability to personalise instruction effectively. xjnqpsq
