We are currently seeking a dynamic Business Studies Teacher to join a school in Lancaster starting in November. This long-term role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Business Studies to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; teaching KS5 would be an advantage.Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.Maintain effective classroom management.Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.Participate in and organise extracurricular activities, such as clubs and social events. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.Recent relevant experience teaching Business Studies at KS3 and KS4; experience at KS5 is advantageous.Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.Reliable, committed, and capable of acting as a good role model for students.Strong interpersonal skills, with qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.Must be punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
