Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a secondary school in Wirral who are looking for a Science Technician to join their dedicated Science Department.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a scientific or laboratory background who enjoys working in a practical environment and supporting students with their learning.

The Role:

Preparing equipment and materials for practical science lessonsSupporting teachers with practical demonstrations and experimentsSetting up and clearing away practical activitiesMaintaining laboratory equipment and resourcesEnsuring laboratories are clean, safe and well organisedManaging stock levels and ordering equipment and materialsFollowing appropriate health and safety proceduresSupporting the smooth day–to–day running of the Science DepartmentThe Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a laboratory, science or school environmentGood knowledge of laboratory equipment and proceduresStrong attention to detailExcellent organisational skillsA proactive and reliable approachComfortable working alongside both staff and studentsKnowledge of health and safety within a laboratory environmentInterested?
