Description

Science Teacher – Dudley, West Midlands

About the Role

Revolve Collective, recruiting on behalf of local schools in the Dudley area, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our network. This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay, dependent on experience, and could be either a long-term contract or a permanent position, with a start date in September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Science educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting the academic and personal development of young people at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on experience). The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons, fostering curiosity and a love of science, and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

*

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.

*

Support the academic progress and well-being of students across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable).

*

Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour, achievement, and scientific inquiry.

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student progress.

*

Contribute to the wider school community, including enrichment and extra-curricular STEM activities.

About You

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

*

Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting (KS3/KS4/KS5).

*

Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

*

Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.

*

Understanding and experience working with children with SEN or SEMH (desirable).
