School First Aider

A Secondary school in Newham is looking for a First Aider

You will be supporting the Office team and be the first point of contact for Medical and First Aid issues within the School and provide medical assistance when required.

During the periods that you are not assisting or attending to students’ medical needs, you will provide general administrative support to the office.

Job Responsibilities

* Liaise with staff members, SLT and parents for any medical emergencies

* Be responsible for the day to day care of students who are unwell or injured

* Work with the Assistant Headteacher for any administration related tasks

* Ensure all medical reports are logged in accordance with the school health and safety policy

* Maintain accurate records/filing as required

Preferred Skills:

* Must have similar experience of providing medical support

* To hold a recognised First Aid Qualification and maintain an up to date certificate

* Knowledge and experience of medical administration xjnqpsq and interventions

* Ability to cover administrative tasks with accuracy

* Good written English and effective communication skills
