The Role

As a School Caretaker, your responsibilities will include:

* Opening and closing the school site, including locking and unlocking buildings

* Carrying out daily health and safety and security checks

* Undertaking general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site

* Managing alarms, access control, and site security systems

* Maintaining outdoor areas, playgrounds, and school grounds

* Supporting room set-ups for school events, meetings, and activities

* Liaising with and supervising contractors on site

* Ensuring compliance with school health and safety procedures

About You

* Proven experience working as a Caretaker within a school setting in the UK (essential)

* Strong practical and maintenance skills

* Good knowledge of health and xjnqpsq safety regulations in schools

* Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently

* Professional, approachable, and trustworthy

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via Uniform Education)
