School Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and friendly School Administrator to join our dedicated school team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school, providing efficient administrative support to staff, pupils, parents and visitors. You will be a welcoming first point of contact for the school and will help ensure that our administrative systems operate effectively and professionally.

Key responsibilities

Providing general administrative and clerical support across the school

Acting as a friendly and professional first point of contact for parents, pupils and visitors

Managing telephone calls, emails and correspondence

Maintaining accurate pupil and school records

Supporting attendance and admissions administration

Preparing letters, reports and other school documentation

Assisting with meetings, events and school activities

Ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate records

Supporting the Headteacher and wider school team with administrative tasks

Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities

Friendly, approachable and professional

An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing

Confident using Microsoft Office and administrative systems

Accurate and attentive to detail

Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information xjnqpsq

Committed to supporting the pupils and wider school community

Previous experience of working in a school or educational setting would be advantageous, although we will consider candidates with strong relevant administrative experience.
