Reception Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Location: Hackney | Large, Inclusive Primary School

Pay: £95 per day (rising to £116 after 12 weeks)

Start: ASAP - Full Academic Year

SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting an experienced Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and busy primary school in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled EYFS practitioner to support children's early learning in a nurturing environment. This school have a forest school on site so a love of working outdoors is essential.

The Role

You will be based in Reception, working closely with the class teacher to support all aspects of the Early Years curriculum. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting small groups and whole-class learning, including leading phonics sessions

Providing tailored support to children, including those who may require personal care

Helping pupils develop independence, social skills, and confidence

Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated Early Years team to ensure consistency and high-quality learning

About You

Experience working in EYFS (Reception) - essential

Confident in delivering phonics and early reading interventions

A fantastic team player who is flexible, proactive, and reliable

Ability to support children with personal care needs if required

Patient, nurturing, and passionate about early years education
