About Us:

We are working with a vibrant and diverse community primary school in the borough of Barking & Dagenham. The school is looking for a Reception SEN TA to support pupils on a 1:1 basis for an ASAP start. If you would like to work in an inclusive environment as a Reception SEN TA, then this is the school for you! As a Reception SEN TA, you will be required to provide both 1:1 and group support to children with varying SEN. The school strongly believes in preparing every child for their future.

Key Responsibilities:

Work as a Reception SEN TA

Supporting young children with SEN

Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.

Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Previous experience working in a Primary School

Understanding of supporting pupils within Early Years

Experience working with children with SEN
