Veritas Education is recruiting enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare and Early Years Practitioners to work across a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries in Southwark and surrounding areas of South East London.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work with children aged 0–5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play–based activitiesAssisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor playSupporting children's social, emotional, physical and communication developmentHelping to maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environmentFollowing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) frameworkWorking closely with nursery staff to provide high–quality care and education

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who have:

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent qualification (essential)Previous experience working within a nursery or EYFS settingA good understanding of the EYFS framework and child developmentA caring, patient and positive approach to working with young childrenExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA flexible and reliable approach to working across different nursery settings
