Pay: £14-£15 per hour

Veritas Education is recruiting enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare and Early Years Practitioners to work across a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries in Southwark and surrounding areas of South East London.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work with children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities

Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play

Supporting children's social, emotional, physical and communication development

Helping to maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

Working closely with nursery staff to provide high-quality care and education

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who have:

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent qualification (essential)

Previous experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting

A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development

A caring, patient and positive approach to working with young children

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A flexible and reliable approach to working across different nursery settings
