Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Future Educational Psychologist

Do you hold a degree in psychology, special educational needs, or inclusion?

Do you have practical experience as well as theoretical knowledge of special educational needs and most importantly autism?

Can you support pupils with SEND or SEMH needs in a modern school?

· Graduate SEN TA/Teaching Assistant

· Working with SEN and SEMH needs

· Based in South Leicester

· Full time, term time position – Starts September

· Previous experience of working with or supporting young people is a required, particularly those with additional needs

Smile Education are currently working with a primary school in Leicester that require additional Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants to work with pupils who need extra support and development in school. As with all schools there are a range of needs including social, emotional, physical and academic.

The school require enthusiastic graduates to work in their area of strength, be that with special needs pupils or offering a high degree of academic tutoring.

Working in a primary setting you will be tasked with supporting a range of pupils in and out of the classroom. xjnqpsq You will work closely with the school’s class teachers as well as their learning support department to ensure that all pupils are working to their full potential and are being well cared for.
