Job Title: Psychoeducational Support Assistant

Location: Scarborough

Pay: £14-16.00 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full-time, long-term (with permanent opportunities)

We are looking for Psychoeducational Support Assistant to work in a range of your SEMH and SEND schools, you will play a key role in delivering bespoke support to pupils with special educational needs or social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will work closely with teachers, and support staff to help pupils access the curriculum, manage behaviour and emotional wellbeing, and develop social and life skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEND / SEMH needs.

Assist with personal care and support routines where needed.

Support pupils during lessons, therapies, and sensory or intervention activities.

Use positive, tailored behavioural and emotional support strategies.

Adapt and differentiate learning materials to meet individual needs.

Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and confidence.

Monitor and record pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing

Support a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment.Benefits
