TeacherActive is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in NG5 8BU and the surrounding areas. With flexible supply opportunities available, you can make a positive difference to children’s learning while working around your availability.

The role will involve:

Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Working with pupils individually and in small groups.

Helping the teacher prepare resources and classroom activities.

Providing tailored support for pupils with SEND.

Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and participation.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

A relevant qualification or experience supporting children in education.

A nurturing, caring approach.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Flexibility to adapt to different classrooms and school routines.

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
