Teaching Assistant - Primary School | Wandsworth

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a vibrant, welcoming, and high-achieving primary school in Wandsworth, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from February 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about education, enjoys working as part of a collaborative school community, and is keen to support pupils both academically and personally.

Role Details

Location: Primary School - Wandsworth

Start Date: February 2026

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Salary: £95-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality classroom support to pupils and teachers across KS1 and KS2, including within the Early Years setting.

Support inclusive learning and promote positive behaviour strategies.

Assist with classroom-based learning as well as wider school activities.

Work closely with teachers to support pupil progress, engagement, and development.

Help create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting.

Be a dedicated Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for education.

Have a proactive, positive, and flexible approach to supporting learning.

Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Hold an enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one). xjnqpsq
