Teaching Assistant (SEN Support) – Hull Primary School
Full Time | Term Time Only | Academic Year
Salary: £90 to £105 a day
Contract: Full-time / Part-time
GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School Hull Hull, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Non-Verbal, and SEMH Needs.
The Role as a Teaching Assistant:
Supporting children in EYFS and Key Stage 1, with a focus on pupils with Autism.
Working with children who may be non-verbal, adapting communication methods to suit individual needs.
Providing 1:1 and small group support to ensure pupils can access learning and thrive in the school environment.
Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of tailored learning and care plans.
Key Information regarding Primary Teaching Assistant:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30 (Term Time Only)
Location: Hull
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
Experience working in a school setting, or in a role supporting children or vulnerable individuals.
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents. xjnqpsq
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
