Job Advert: General Primary Teaching Assistant - Supply Work (Day-to-Day & Long-Term)

Location: Various schools across Peterborough

Position: Teaching Assistant (Supply)

Type: Full-Time, Day-to-Day & Long-Term Assignments

Aspire People is looking for passionate and dedicated General Teaching Assistants to join our pool of talented supply staff. We are offering both day-to-day and long-term supply work in primary schools across the Peterborough. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide classroom support to teachers and students.

* Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons.

* Support students with their learning needs, both individually and in small groups.

* Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

* Provide feedback on student progress to teachers.

* Foster an inclusive, supportive environment to promote student learning.

Requirements:

* Must hold an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check on the Update Service.

* Previous experience working with children (either in a teaching assistant role or similar) is preferred but not essential.

* A passion for education and working with children.

* Excellent communication and organizational skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Flexibility to work across various schools and adapt to different classroom environments.
