JOB TITLE - Primary Teacher

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a supportive and well‑established Primary School based in North West Bristol.

The school is known for its collaborative staff team, strong leadership, and commitment to professional development. Regular CPD opportunities are offered throughout the year, and depending on performance, the role may be extended or become permanent.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: North West Bristol

Position: Primary Teacher

Full-Time: Monday to Friday

Day Rate: £130 - £180 per day

Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working in a UK school is mandatory

A minimum of 24 months of verifiable, child‑related references is required

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (desirable or required depending on school needs)

Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year

Experience or interest in Special Educational Needs, including:

Autism

Speech & Language Needs

Strong command of spoken and written English

Experience within healthcare or supporting vulnerable individuals is desirable

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one
