Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role?

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a specialist SEN provision inside a mainstream primary school. This hub supports children who require a more tailored timetable, with small class sizes of approximately 8 pupils, ensuring each child receives focused, personalised support.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you're looking to make a meaningful impact every day!

The Candidate

Must have experience working with children with additional needs

Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)

Confident supporting pupils with a range of SEN

Experience within mainstream or SEN settings is highly desirable

Ability to follow tailored learning plans and work closely with the class teacher and SENCO

Core Aims of the Role

Support pupils with varying additional needs, both academically and emotionally

Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning

Assist in delivering tailored activities and interventions

Help promote independence and confidence among pupils

Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies
