Primary Graduate Teaching AssistantReady to build real KS1 classroom experience before teacher training? Use your clear communication and steady approach to keep learning purposeful for young pupils. Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant Immediate start until July 2026 GBP81 - GBP101 per day 'Good' primary school, Wolverhampton General TA support across KS1What you'll do:Support Year 1 and Year 2 classes with day-to-day learning. You'll set up activities, circulate to guide pupils, run short phonics/early number groups, and provide 1:1 check-ins for children who need an extra nudge. You'll help keep routines tight, capture brief progress notes, and flag next steps to the class teacher.Who you are:A reliable graduate who explains ideas simply, stays organised, and builds quick rapport with young children. You follow guidance, use initiative when needed, and keep sessions calm and focused.Requirements• Degree - A 2:2 or above in any subject.• Communication - Clear, confident written and verbal skills.• Enhanced DBS - Held already or willingness to obtain.• Desire to work in education/with children - Genuine interest in KS1 learning and pupil wellbeing.• Experience working with children - Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.The School:A 'Good' primary in Wolverhampton with consistent routines, supportive leadership, and a friendly KS1 team.
