Primary Class Teacher – Easter 2026 Start

Location: Greenwich, South East London

Salary: 3,500 – 4,500 per month

Contract: Full–time

Veritas Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming, community–focused primary school in Greenwich to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher for an Easter 2026 start.

This Ofsted–rated 'Good' school is well regarded for its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral care, and engaging curriculum across the primary phase. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a class, delivering high–quality, well–structured lessons that support pupils' academic progress, personal development, and confidence as learners.

This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about primary education, enjoys creating inspiring and purposeful learning environments, and is committed to helping children build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and independent learning.

The Ideal Primary Teacher Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting (ECTs encouraged to apply)

Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective assessment strategies

A nurturing and patient approach with high expectations for all pupils

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

Main Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the primary curriculum

Creating a structured, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

Assessing, tracking and supporting pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes

Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
