Aspire People are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming two–form entry Church of England primary school in Croydon, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated PPA & Sports Cover Teacher or experienced TA on a full–time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who enjoys working across different year groups and has a particular interest in PE and sports.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing PPA and sports cover across the school, delivering engaging and purposeful lessons and ensuring a consistently high standard of teaching and learning.

You will be expected to:

Deliver high–quality lessons across a range of primary year groups.

Provide effective PPA cover for class teachers.

Deliver engaging PE and sports sessions.

Adapt confidently to different classes and learning needs.

Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and the wider school community.

Support the school's Christian ethos and values.

Safeguarding & Vetting

As this role involves working directly with children, stringent safer recruitment and safeguarding procedures will apply.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and the school's full pre–employment vetting process.
