Part–Time Playworker Breakfast, After School & Holiday Club

Location: Bicknacre, Essex

Hours: Monday Wednesday or Monday Thursday, all year round

Contract: Part–time

Are you energetic, creative and passionate about working with children?

We are looking for a fun, confident and proactive Playworker to join a welcoming and dedicated children s club in Bicknacre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating exciting experiences, building positive relationships and making a real difference to children s lives.

The successful Playworker will support children across breakfast club, after–school club and holiday club sessions, helping to create a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment where children can learn, play and build lasting memories.

The Role

As a Playworker, you will:

Support the day–to–day running of breakfast, after–school and holiday club sessionsCreate fun, engaging and age–appropriate activities for childrenEncourage children to participate in games, creative activities, sports and outdoor playBuild positive and trusting relationships with childrenSupport children s wellbeing, development and individual needsEnsure children are supervised and kept safe at all timesFollow safeguarding, health and safety and club policiesHelp create a welcoming, inclusive and positive environmentSupport with school collections and transport during term time About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about working with childrenFun, enthusiastic and full of energyConfident and proactiveCreative and able to bring new ideas and activities to the clubReliable, responsible and well organisedA positive role model for childrenAble to work effectively as part of a teamPrevious experience working with children is desirable Essential Requirements

Full UK driving licenceAccess to your own car, as you will be required to collect and transport children from local schools during term timePrevious experience working with children is desirableA commitment to safeguarding and promoting children s welfare Why Join?
