We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a specialist school in Wood Green, working with secondary–aged pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

This is an excellent opportunity for a PE teacher who is passionate about making physical education accessible, engaging and meaningful for pupils with complex learning needs.

You will be working across the school with pupils aged 11–16, adapting PE activities to meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities. Experience working with SEND, PMLD or complex needs would be highly desirable.

The role will involve:

Planning and delivering engaging PE sessions for pupils aged 11–16Adapting activities to suit individual physical, communication and learning needsWorking closely with teaching assistants and the wider multidisciplinary teamSupporting pupils' physical development, confidence and independenceCreating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environmentContributing to the wider life of the schoolThe ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching experienceExperience teaching PE within a SEND setting, or a strong willingness to work with specialist learnersA patient, creative and nurturing approachExcellent behaviour management and communication skillsA genuine passion for supporting pupils with complex needsApply now for immediate consideration.
