Part–Time Reception Teacher / Experienced Level 3 Practitioner – Independent Nursery & Prep School – September Start

Are you an experienced Reception Teacher or Level 3 Practitioner looking for a part–time opportunity from September?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming independent nursery and prep school seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic educator to lead a small Reception class on a part–time basis.

This flexible opportunity would suit a qualified Reception Teacher or an experienced Level 3 Practitioner with a strong background in leading a Reception class. The school is happy to consider a range of working patterns, including five mornings per week, two full days, or a similar arrangement.

The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team and will be committed to providing a nurturing, engaging learning environment where children can thrive.

The role:

Part–time, with flexibility around the working pattern (e.g. five mornings, two full days, or similar)September startContract through to July 2027Small Reception class within the nursery settingFriendly, supportive team with separate morning and afternoon staffWorking hours are typically 8:00am–1:00pm or 12:00pm–6:00pm, depending on the agreed schedule

The ideal candidate will:

Be a qualified Reception Teacher or hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification with experience leading a Reception classHave a sound understanding of the EYFS frameworkBe enthusiastic, caring and professionalBe confident planning and delivering engaging learning opportunitiesWork collaboratively as part of a supportive teamThis role would particularly suit someone seeking a better work–life balance, including practitioners with young children or experienced educators looking to reduce their working hours.
