Office Administrator

Location: London

Salary: £24,779 - £28,412 per annum (dependent on experience)

Contract: Full Time | Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday-Friday | 8:15am-4:00pm

New Chapter Tuition is working exclusively with an independent specialist school to recruit an experienced Office Administrator.

This is an exciting opportunity to become the central point of a busy specialist school supporting young people with additional educational, social, emotional and mental health needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office while providing exceptional administrative support to the leadership team, staff, parents and external professionals.

The Role

As Office Administrator, you will:

* Manage the day-to-day running of the school office and reception.

* Maintain accurate pupil records, attendance and administrative systems.

* Support admissions, student inductions and school events.

* Assist with finance administration, purchasing and office resources.

* Provide high-quality administrative support to the School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

* Previous experience working within a school or education administration environment.

* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

* Confidence using Microsoft Office and school MIS systems such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.

* A professional, proactive approach with a genuine commitment to safeguarding.
