The Most Rewarding Teaching Job You'll Ever Have

Nurture Teachers – Eccles, Salford, Trafford & Surrounding Areas

£26 – £30 per hour (PAYE) | 1:1 Teaching | Immediate Start | Flexible Hours

Are you a qualified teacher who’s ready to rediscover why you fell in love with teaching in the first place?

Join a team where you’re truly valued, your wellbeing matters, and your work transforms lives — one student at a time.

We’re on the lookout for passionate, trauma-informed Nurture Teachers to provide 1:1 personalised tuition to children and young people across Eccles, Salford, Trafford and surrounding areas, who aren’t currently accessing education.

Why This Role is So Special:

This isn’t just another teaching job. It’s a chance to slow down, focus on the child in front of you, and build real connections that help learners re-engage with education — often for the first time in years.

You’ll support young people with a range of needs, including:

*

SEMH

*

SEND

*

EBSA

And deliver tailored sessions in safe, supportive environments like:

*

Local libraries

*

Community hubs

*

Schools

*

Occasionally in the student’s home (always fully risk-assessed and safeguarded)

You’ll have the flexibility to shape your working week, while making a genuine difference where it’s needed most.

We’re Looking for Teachers Who:

*

Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)

*

Have a DBS on the Update Service (or are happy to apply)

*

Have experience across multiple key stages (KS1–KS4)

*

Are confident supporting learners with SEMH, SEND and EBSA

*

Use a trauma-informed, relationship-first approach to teaching

*

Can plan and deliver individualised, engaging sessions independently

Why Our Nurture Teachers Love Working With Us:

We don’t just say we value our team — we show it.

When you join us, you become part of a warm, welcoming community of educators who are respected, supported and celebrated. Here's what you can expect:

*

£26 – £30 per hour (PAYE)

*

True flexibility – choose hours that suit your life

*

A dedicated consultant who always has your back

*

Regular Nurture Teacher CPD meetups to grow and share best practice

*

Half-termly social events – because connection matters

*

An open-door policy at our Wigan town centre office

*

Access to meaningful, ongoing professional development

*

A values-led, supportive environment where your voice is heard

We’re Proud to Be Inclusive:

We are a committed equal opportunities employer.

We actively welcome applications from all backgrounds, cultures and communities.

We believe diversity makes us stronger and enriches the support we offer to children and families.
