Nursing Teacher – The Role

An ambitious and high–performing Sixth Form in Lewisham is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursing Teacher to join its thriving Engineering department from November 2026 on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will teach Nursing across Key Stages 4 and 5, inspiring students to achieve their full potential while contributing to the continued success of the department. The school offers excellent professional development opportunities, a supportive leadership team, and the chance to play an active role in curriculum development and enrichment programmes.

Location – Lewisham

Position – Nursing Teacher

Type of work – KS4/KS5 Nursing Class Teacher

Contract or position start date – 2nd November 2026

Duration / Likely Duration – 4 terms until end of the academic year July 2027 (possible to extend to a permanent contract)

Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temporary to permanent

Full time/part time – Full time

Minimum rate of pay – match to pay scale

Hours – 8:15am – 15:30pm, plus parents evenings
