SEN Nursery Support Worker - Hinckley

Location: Hinckley

Position: SEN Nursery Support Worker

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Aspire People are thrilled to partner with a fantastic nursery in Hinckley, seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Nursery Support Worker to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a positive impact on their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to children with varied needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential skills.

Assist in group work to encourage social interaction and collaborative learning among children.

Support the overall learning environment, ensuring children feel safe, engaged, and motivated.

Work closely with teachers and SEN professionals to implement personalised care and education plans.

Promote independence and encourage positive behaviour and communication skills.

Adapt to the varied needs of the children, providing a flexible approach to support.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children, particularly in an SEN setting, is highly desirable.

Comfortable working with children of varying abilities and needs, showing patience, empathy, and understanding.

Able to commit to working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and staff.

A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for working in an educational environment.
