Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse / Nursery Assistant

Option of either Under 2's or Preschool.

We are currently recruiting a Nursery Practitioner or Senior practitioner to join either our Under 2's or our pre-school room at our beautiful, forward-thinking children’s day nursery and preschool just outside Guildford.

We are seeking individuals who can promote high quality care in a stimulating, rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for all ages of children from 6 months–5 years.

Main responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse:

* Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children's needs.

* Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.

* Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.

* Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare.

The ideal candidate will;

* Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.

* Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.

* Be qualified to NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent in childcare (highly desirable)

* Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages

We appreciate that it is important to get work life balance right and as such, we are happy to consider either full time (40 hours per week over 4 days all year round), or Part time over several full days.
