Salary: GBP12.17 – GBP15.25 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well–established private day nursery in the Altrincham area, providing a warm and stimulating environment for children from babies through to preschool age. The Ofsted rated Good setting benefits from bright and spacious rooms, engaging learning areas and excellent outdoor facilities designed to encourage exploration, independence and development.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a permanent, full–time basis, working 40 hours per week from November 2026. The successful Nursery Assistant will support qualified practitioners with children s daily learning, play and care routines, helping to provide engaging activities and a consistently high standard of care across the setting.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• No formal Early Years or Childcare qualification required

• A minimum of 3 months experience working within a UK nursery

• An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS

• A caring, reliable and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children s development and wellbeing
