Salary: £14.25 - £15.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of nurseries across Neath Port Talbot who are looking to recruit dedicated Nursery Assistants on a supply basis. These nurseries provide safe, engaging and stimulating environments for children aged 0-5 years, with a strong focus on encouraging social, emotional and educational development through play-based learning.

The nurseries are looking for flexible Nursery Assistants to work on both full-time and part-time hours depending on availability. The successful Nursery Assistant will support daily childcare routines, assist with educational activities, help maintain a safe and hygienic environment and work closely with senior staff to monitor children’s progress and wellbeing.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable

Experience supporting children within nursery or early years settings

Good understanding of child development and early years best practice

A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A willingness to get involved and support children's development
