Nursery Teaching Assistant – DN7 | Full-Time, Immediate Start

Location: Primary School, DN7

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary – Immediate start until Christmas 2026

Are you a qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in a primary school in DN7? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and help them thrive in a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated support to children in the nursery, following the EYFS framework

*

Assist with classroom activities, daily routines, and early years learning

*

Support social, emotional, and developmental growth of all children

*

Work closely with the class teacher and early years team to deliver high-quality nursery support

*

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment

Requirements:

Must hold a Level 2, Level 3, or higher childcare qualification

*

Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting

*

Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children

*

Strong communication and teamwork skills

*

Paediatric First Aid certification is desirable

Full-time hours available immediately until Christmas 2026
