Moving from a permanent music teacher role is always frightening, but teaching in a school that allows agency enables job satisfaction. You will have an opportunity to put your creativeness and musical ear to the test where you will help create school plays and workshops. If you're feeling undervalued, and not getting the opportunities to share your passion then these roles will suit you! Alternatively, these roles would be perfect opportunities for NQT's as you will be surrounded by a supportive department. These temporary music teacher roles will commence on the 9th March 2026 and will continue until the end of the 2025/26 academic year. You will be expected to teach students to play an instrument and to read and understand music.
