Contract: Long-term until December 2025 (with potential for permanent placement)

Pay: £160–£240 per day (based on experience)

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm | Full-Time

Supply Desk is partnering with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Fareham to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a full-time role starting in September with strong potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

You’ll be joining a collaborative Maths department where innovation and support go hand-in-hand. You’ll play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence, logical reasoning, and a love for numbers.

Whether you're an experienced teacher, a passionate Early Career Teacher (ECT), or someone with strong relevant experience in secondary Maths education, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Plan and deliver dynamic and inspiring Maths lessons tailored to varied learning needs.

Promote critical thinking, resilience, and independent learning.

Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement.

Contribute to wider school life – from revision sessions to Maths enrichment clubs.

What We’re Looking For:

A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject (essential).

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).

Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.

A passion for making Maths accessible and enjoyable.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
