Are you a dedicated and resilient Maths teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a school in South Manchester to recruit a Maths Curriculum Lead from September 2026.

The school is a Pupil Referral Unit, supporting secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be managing the Maths department for all sites.

As a Maths Curriculum Lead, you will:

Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to pupils

Work alongside other teachers and the SEN team to identify barriers and plan accordingly

Build rapport and provide pastoral support to pupilsWhat we are looking for:

An excellent understanding of the National Curriculum

Previous experience teaching GSCE maths, preferably within a SEMH setting

Experience planning, leading and teaching

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position

Passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potentialTo Be Eligible You Must:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK

Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
