About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a KS2 child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a welcoming and inclusive school in South Liverpool. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on a child's learning and development journey, offering tailored support to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for and SEN Child in KS2, focusing on their educational, emotional, and social development.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
Encourage and support positive behaviour and engagement in learning activities.
Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is essential.
Education-related qualifications are not essential but highly desired for the role.
Patience, empathy, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills are essential.
Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents, and staff. xjnqpsq
