Learning Support Assistants – Opportunities Across Derbyshire

Education Personnel, one of the region’s leading education recruitment agencies, is currently seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across Derbyshire.

We are working closely with schools that require additional classroom support, and we have a variety of short-term, long-term and flexible placements available. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in the classroom.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support teachers and pupils to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Roles may include:

Providing 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help

*

Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

*

Assisting with small group interventions

*

Helping pupils stay engaged and focused during lessons

*

Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from candidates who:

Have experience working with children or young people in any setting

Are patient, supportive and enthusiastic about education

*

Have experience with SEN or additional learning needs (desirable but not essential)

*

Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff

*

Are reliable, adaptable and able to work in different school environments
