Level 3 Teaching Assistant - EYFS / KS1

Description

Aspire People are working in partnership with a warm and nurturing primary school in Manchester who are seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS and Key Stage 1.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a school that places strong emphasis on early development, phonics, and creating a positive foundation for learning.

The Role:

Supporting teaching and learning within Reception and Year 1.

Delivering small-group phonics interventions (Read Write Inc experience desirable).

Providing 1:1 support for pupils requiring additional academic or emotional guidance.

Supporting early language development and communication skills.

Assisting with observations and contributing to pupil progress tracking.

Supporting classroom routines, transitions, and behaviour management.

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE or equivalent).

Has recent experience working in a UK primary school.

Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and KS1 curriculum.

Confident supporting phonics and early numeracy.

Nurturing, proactive and committed to pupil development.
