Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Description

Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to provide high-quality care and early years education in a safe, nurturing environment, in line with the EYFS statutory framework and Ofsted requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework

* Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met

* Observe, assess, and record children’s development (e.g., learning journals)

* Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children and parents

* Support school readiness and inclusive learning practices

* Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment

Requirements (UK / Ofsted-Focused):

Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (as recognised by Ofsted)

Strong knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework and Ofsted inspection criteria

Up-to-date safeguarding and child xjnqpsq protection knowledge (Working Together to Safeguard Children)

Experience as a Key Person, including observations and next-step planning

Understanding of ratios, health & safety, and welfare requirements

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Paediatric First Aid (preferred but not essential)
