The Role

As a Supply EYFS Teaching Assistant, you’ll support children in Nursery and Reception, helping them learn, develop and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities

Working with children individually and in small groups

Supporting Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED)

Encouraging children's communication and language development

Supporting early literacy and numeracy activities

Helping children develop independence and confidence

Supporting indoor and outdoor learning and play

Assisting with personal care where required

Supporting children with SEND and additional needs

Building positive relationships with children and staff

Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies

About You

We’re looking for candidates who:

Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or another full and relevant qualifacation (this can be checked on GOV website if you are unsure)

Have experience working with children within an EYFS, nursery or primary setting

Have a genuine passion for working with young children

Are caring, patient and enthusiastic

Can build positive relationships with children

Are adaptable and confident working in different school environments

Have a good understanding of safeguarding

Are reliable and committed to supporting children's development
