Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Secondary)

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Salary: £90-£110 - pro rata, dependent on experience

Contract Type: (Full-time/Part-time), Term Time Only

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team at a thriving secondary school in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to helping students succeed, both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

Work under the guidance of teaching staff to support students in their learning.

Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting materials to meet individual needs.

Provide targeted support to students with a range of needs, including SEND.

Encourage positive behaviour and help create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.

Support students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, both in and out of the classroom.

Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress.

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Has experience working with secondary-aged pupils (desirable).

Is patient, approachable, and passionate about supporting young people.

Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff and students.

Is proactive, flexible, and willing to get involved in the wider life of the school.
