Salary: GBP14.25–GBP15.50 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Bristol to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. The school provides a welcoming and supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to provide day–to–day support across Key Stage 1 / KS1. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work alongside class teachers to support pupils with their learning, encourage positive behaviour and help create an engaging classroom environment.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

Experience working with children in a primary school or similar educational settingExperience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1A good understanding of the Primary CurriculumStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA positive and proactive approach to supporting learningAdaptability and excellent classroom management skills In return for the above you can expect to receive:
