Learning Support Assistant / LSA – Minehead

Location: Minehead

Hours: Full-time | 08:30 – 15:30 (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £90 – £110 per day

Start: ASAP

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant / LSA to join an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ primary school in Minehead.

This is a full-time role supporting pupils throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom, helping them to flourish academically, socially and emotionally within a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued.

The school is highly regarded within the local community and prides itself on creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both pupils and staff. It offers bright, modern classrooms, excellent facilities and high-quality resources, all supported by a friendly, dedicated and collaborative team who are passionate about making a real difference every day.

The Role:

* General Learning Support Assistant / LSA

* Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis

* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

* Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment

* Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

* Encouraging independence, confidence and social development

The Ideal Candidate:

* Has previous experience working with SEN children in a primary setting

* Is patient, reliable and passionate about supporting young learners

* Can work effectively as part of a team

* Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
