Location: Lambeth (near Stockwell / Oval)

Start Date: June 2026

Contract: Full-time | Long-term

Pay: £95-£120 per day

Setting: Additionally Resourced Provision (ARB)

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their Additionally Resourced Provision from June 2026.

This Learning Support Assistant role will involve supporting pupils with autism and complex communication needs within a specialist setting attached to the mainstream school. The provision offers a structured and nurturing environment with small groups, clear routines and strong staffing support.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and therapists to support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and access to learning throughout the school day.

The school has a strong reputation for inclusive practice and provides excellent support and training for staff working within SEN.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting pupils within the ARB on a one-to-one and small group basis

Assisting with communication and sensory-based learning activities

Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation

Helping pupils access personalised learning programmes

Working collaboratively with the wider SEN teamThe ideal Learning Support Assistant will:

Have experience supporting pupils with SEN or autism

Be calm, patient and adaptable

Work well within a team environment

Build positive relationships with pupils and staffExperience in specialist provisions, ARBs or SEN settings would be highly beneficial.
