KS2 Learning Support Assistant

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant, to join our friendly and supportive team, working primarily with pupils in KS2. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and who enjoys working as part of a collaborative school community. The successful candidate will support pupils' learning, wellbeing and independence both in and out of the classroom.

Contract Details for the LSA role:

Location – Mainstream Primary school based in SouthminsterPosition – Learning Support AssistantType of work – Special NeedsStart date – ImmediateContract type – ContractedPart time 15 hours per weekMinimum rate of pay – 90 per day

Experience, Training, and Qualifications for the role:

Previous LSA/SEN experience is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageousA passion for working with children with ASD/ADHD/Global Delay.Proactive in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
