Description

ABC Teachers are looking for a patient, compassionate individual to join a SEN school in Birmingham as a Learning Support Assistant.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide small group support to children with a range of SEN NeedsAssist with tailored learning activitiesSupport pupils with emotional regulation, communication and social skillsCreate a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environmentWork alongside teachers, therapists and other support staff in the school The School:

A specialist school in Birmingham, supporting children with a range of learning, medical and complex needsProvides a safe, nurturing and highly structured environment where every child is valued, understood and supported to achieve their full potentialHelping every child reach their full academic, social, and emotional potential by adapting to their individual strengths and needs.

About you:

To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant role, you will:

Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.

Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students

Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
