TeacherActive are working with a welcoming primary school in central Bristol that is urgently seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.

What You ll Do: Support pupils across Year 1 and Year 2, focusing on phonics, reading and early numeracy

Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated activities

Build positive relationships with pupils and help create a calm, inclusive learning space

Provide small–group and 1:1 support, encouraging confidence and independence

What You ll Need: Experience supporting children in a KS1 or EYFS setting (school, nursery or childcare)

A calm, consistent and proactive approach to classroom support

Strong communication skills and confidence leading small groups

Enhanced Child–Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
