At Quokka Education, we re seeking a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic secondary school in Gosport.

This is a full–time role starting in October 2025.

No classroom experience? No problem.

We ll make sure you re ready with:

• Free training and CPD courses

• Experience days so you can try the role first

• Ongoing support from our friendly team

Your role as a Learning Support Assistant:

• Support students with additional or complex learning needs within the classroom

• Provide 1:1 and small–group interventions – both academic and emotional

• Help create a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to remove barriers to learning

• Graduates or aspiring teachers seeking classroom experience

• Patient, empathetic individuals with strong communication skills

• Reliable, proactive team players who want to make a genuine difference

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Schedule: 8:30am 3:30pm, term time only

Hours: Full–time (part–time options available)

Pay: From GBP95/day (PAYE)
